Her singing career began when she was only a child and was chosen for a regular spot on a national Australian children’s variety TV show, “Brian and the Juniors”. From there, she quickly moved on to many stage and television appearances.

Over the years, she has also recorded hundreds of  jingles for radio and TV, performing for such companies as “Dulux”, “Sussan”, “Target”, “3AW”, and most recently for Channel 7, on their smash hit  “It Takes Two”.

She has also performed for corporate giants Ford, GMH, Ronald McDonald House, Jetset, Honda, Australia Post and Telstra. 

Her respect as a singer, coupled with her amazing vocal ability has seen her sought after by many artists. She has recorded albums and worked  for so many greats in the industry including Olivia Newton John, Kylie Minogue, Daryl Braithwaite, Colleen Hewitt, Brian Cadd, Nikki Webster and on John Farnham’s highly acclaimed “Whispering  Jack”. 

Nikki has produced three of her own albums. They CDs are quite diverse in their musical styles and are typical of her challenging interest in the areas of music and singing. 

Her CD “Misunderstood” is a journey of great rock standards. As a female artist she enjoyed the challenge of performing songs which had been written by male musicians for male musicians.

 “Exhibit A”, is a collection of her own music. The album includes three tracks written and arranged by Nikki.

“Yume Ippai”, is a Japanese album about Australia. It is written in Japanese by Nikki and sung  in the language for tourists visiting Australia. 

Her most recent solo work has included “TAPESTRY”, her own show, where she performs the many wonderful hit songs written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin.

Currently, NIKKI NICHOLLS  is starring alongside Wendy Stapleton and Debra Byrne in the very successful show “Girls Girls Girls”. The show has been performed to audiences Australia wide.

Her respect in the industry continues to ensure a busy schedule. She has been an Australian Ambassador for the past three years 2004, 2005 and 2006. She teaches singing, performs constantly and continues to be one of Australia’s most sought after session singers.
